Novaform STF
• Novaform STF is a type of gasket sheet / sealing sheet manufactured by Frenzelit.
• The material consists of a blend of aramid fibers and functional fillers with a low binder content, and is reinforced with an expanded iron grid / galvanized iron mesh (material 1.0338) — a structure that provides very high mechanical strength.
Key Technical Characteristics
• Temperature resistance up to approximately 600 °C.
• Very high mechanical strength (high tensile strength) and excellent residual stress — meaning the gasket remains reliable even under extreme load conditions and thermal cycling.
• Can be manufactured as rolled goods or as flat sheets.
• Available in several thickness options — for example 0.60 / 0.80 / 1.00 / 1.20 / 1.50 / 1.80 / 2.00 mm, with other custom thicknesses available upon request.
• Surfaces can be supplied with anti-stick coating or other special coatings (optional).
Typical Applications of Novaform STF
Novaform STF is designed for applications with very demanding mechanical and thermal requirements — especially in exhaust systems, such as:
• Engine exhaust systems (including diesel engines, turbochargers, compressor exhaust, etc.)
• Industrial applications requiring gaskets that withstand high temperatures and severe mechanical stress (vibration, pressure, high heat)
• Situations where long-lasting, stable sealing performance is required, even under extreme conditions.

• Technical properties (strength, compressibility, recovery, density, etc.) are typically based on laboratory conditions; actual performance depends on installation and operating conditions.
• This gasket is suitable for hot gases (exhaust) — unlike some other soft Novaform series that are more suitable for liquids/fluids.
