Novaphit M REEL
• Novaphit® is Frenzelit’s product range of expanded graphite gasket materials.
• The M REEL variant is a 0.5 mm-thick graphite foil supplied in roll (reel) form, allowing you to cut it to any required width.
• This material is suitable as a soft layer for semi-metallic gaskets, as a filling material for spiral-wound gaskets, or for manufacturing graphite pads and custom graphite-based seals.
Specifications & Advantages
• Temperature range: –200 °C to +550 °C.
• Excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemical media.
• Highly adaptable to flange irregularities / uneven sealing surfaces, and relatively resistant to fluctuating loads.
• The roll (reel) format offers high flexibility — you can cut it to fit the flange size or joint dimensions, ideal for customized gasket production or on-site requirements.
Typical Uses / When It Is Suitable
• When a graphite sealing layer or filling material is needed for flanges, semi-metallic gaskets, spiral-wound gaskets, or other custom graphite-based gaskets.
• For applications that involve very low to very high temperatures, or situations with extreme temperature, pressure, or chemical media.
• For industrial applications, plants, piping systems, exhaust systems, and hot/chemical fluid or steam transfer systems where thermal and material resistance are critical.
