xNovapress® UNIVERSAL is a high-pressure, fiber-based gasket material that is highly versatile and widely used across many industries. It is well known for its excellent mechanical strength and high chemical resistance.
Key Properties
• Material Composition: Made from a balanced combination of high-quality aramid fibers and special functional fillers, bonded with NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber).
• Identification Color: Light green on both sides.
• Anti-Stick Coating: Equipped with a PTFE anti-stick layer on both surfaces to facilitate easy gasket removal during maintenance.
• Operating Temperature Range: Performs effectively from approximately −100 °C up to about 250 °C.
• Pressure Resistance: Suitable for high-pressure applications, capable of handling pressures up to around 130 bar under specific conditions.
• Low Gas Leakage: Provides very tight sealing, resulting in extremely low gas leakage—ideal for critical applications.
• Oil Resistance: Offers excellent resistance to various types of oils.
