Frenzelit novapress® MULTI II is a high-performance fiber sheet gasket material specifically designed for high-temperature and high-pressure applications, particularly saturated steam and hot oil. This gasket serves as a reliable asbestos-free sealing solution following the ban on asbestos use.
Key Characteristics
- Composition: A combination of aramid fibers, high-quality graphite fillers, and oil-resistant nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR).
- Resistance: Excellent resistance to a wide range of media, including oils, gasoline, lubricants, gaseous media, as well as weak acids and weak alkalis.
- Physical Properties: Outstanding stress relaxation behavior, high adaptability to flange surface irregularities, and a very high safety margin under fluctuating loads. The graphite structure provides unique flexibility and sealing reliability.
