Tesnit Style Armit CAF
is a Compressed Asbestos Fiber (CAF) gasket material reinforced with steel wire (wire-reinforced).
This material is specifically engineered by Donit Tesnit for extreme applications involving high pressure and fluctuating high temperatures.
Key Features
- Wire Reinforcement: Uses woven carbon steel wire to enhance mechanical strength against internal pressure and dynamic loads.
- Temperature & Pressure Resistance: Capable of handling pressures up to 200 bar and peak temperatures up to 550°C – 600°C.
- Composition: Made from asbestos fibers combined with NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) binder and coated with graphite to facilitate easy gasket removal.
