Applications
The JIC 3079 gland packing is suitable for use in dynamic sealing
applications on equipment such as:
- Rotary
pumps
- Reciprocating
pumps
- Agitators
and mixers
- Valves (for
sealing along the stem)
Key Features
- Excellent
chemical resistance: Suitable for a wide range of
chemical media.
- Good
wear resistance: The phenolic fibers offer
durability for demanding industrial conditions.
- Lubricated: Includes
a lubricant to assist with "run-in" and reduce friction against
the shaft.
- Cost-effective: Offers
a balance of performance, cost, and ease of maintenance.
