Description:
Rockwool (mineral) product is a lightweight economical thermal insulation material which is also recognized as one of the best materials for the purpose of thermal insulation and is made from a mixture of natural stone (basal and dolomite) melting at high temperatures to form a liquid matrix, which is then passed through an air stream cooling the material and the form of long fibrous strands. These strands are bonded together to form sheets, blocks, blankets, pipe covers and granulates (non-bonded). Materials that are chemically and biologically inert and free of plant pathogens.
Application:
Rockwool blanket is to process temperature control, energy conservation, condensation prevention and protection of personnel for power generation, metallurgy, oil refining and industrial chemicals, including factories and equipments such as exhaust flues, hot gas conduits, boilers, heat exchangers, reactors, storage tanks, furnaces, ovens, autoclaves, dust, piles, air conditioning requires ducts, cooling equipment and kilns. It is also used for industries suitable for walls, roofs, elevators either, flat or slightly curved surfaces for thermal, fire retardant and sound absorption buildings. It is easily installed by impaling rockwool slab or blanket on the welding pin and securing it with a speed clip. The unfaced surface of the rockwool blanket should be applied on a hot surface to be insulated. The quilts rockwool can be laminated with aluminum foil, fiberglass cloth or stitched with galvanized mesh wire and other materials facing upon customer's request for a specific purpose.
